About Anew Journey Health
At Anew Journey Health, I provide compassionate, collaborative, and individualized psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults. As a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide evidence-based psychiatric evaluations and medication management to patients throughout Kansas, with in-person services available in the Kansas City metropolitan area. My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in decisions about your treatment.
I recognize that mental and physical health are closely connected. My training and experience in both family medicine and psychiatric mental health care allow me to consider the whole person when evaluating and treating mental health concerns. Treatment begins with a comprehensive evaluation that considers your symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, previous treatment experiences, current circumstances, and personal goals. Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan focused on improving symptoms, daily functioning, and overall quality of life.

Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluations
A thorough evaluation of your current concerns, symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, previous treatment experiences, medications, and other factors that may be affecting your mental health. The goal is to better understand your needs, clarify diagnoses when appropriate, and develop an individualized treatment plan.
Medication Management
Individualized medication management based on your diagnosis, symptoms, medical history, previous treatment response, and personal preferences. I work collaboratively with you to evaluate treatment options and regularly monitor effectiveness, side effects, and overall progress.
Ongoing Psychiatric Care
Mental health treatment often requires continued assessment and adjustment over time. Follow-up visits provide an opportunity to evaluate your response to treatment, address new or ongoing concerns, make medication adjustments when appropriate, and continue working toward your treatment goals.
